Mudir Pontren Kauman Reinforced as Manager of Teacher Muhammadiyah Center Forum

YOGYAKARTA, KOMINFO -- Visiting the Pesantren Cottage (Pontren) of Muhammadiyah Padang Panjang, Dr. Derliana, M. A was officially appointed as the custodian of Guru Muhammadiyah Forum (FGM) Centre for the period 2023-2027, Tuesday (9/5).
The Head of the National Best Madrasah is believed to hold the post of vice-chairman of FGM. This is stated in the Decision Letter of the Assembly of Primary and Secondary Education and Non-Formal Education Number 66/KEP/I. 4/F/2023.
Derliana and other administrators were inaugurated in the Auditorium of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta by the Vice Chairman of Youth Education and Sports Leadership Center (PP) Muhammadiyah, Prof. Dr. H. Irwan Akib, M. P.D.
Irwan Akib orders that all FGM managers to synergy in advancing Muhammadiyah education. He also emphasized the importance of innovations undertaken by teachers so that Muhammadiyah's ambition of producing innovative, competitive and creative students can be realized.
"Managing school / madrasah Muhammadiyah must have innovation. Guru Muhammadiyah is in charge of the Superior and Progressive Generation. Steady faith, superior intellect, graceful morality, and prompt are the characteristics of Muhammadiyah education," he said.
Present at the inauguration is the chairman of the Assembly of Dikdasmen and Non-Formal Education (Didasmen and PNF) PP Muhammadiyah, Didik Suhardi, PhD. It delivers, as a teacher in the company Muhammadiyah must be a fighter and a winner.
According to the Deputy of the Coordination of Mental Revolution, Cultural Development and Increase of Sports Performance of Kemenko Human Development and Culture, Muhammadiyah education is the pioneer of education in Indonesia because it has stood before Indonesia is independent.
For him now the improvement and development must be enabled through the cadres of the company that have already struggled to develop Muhammadiyah's education.
"We have to be able to adapt to circumstances as it is. Methods and patterns should be different. Digital, then Muhammadiyah school should start with digitalization. Starting with aids, materials, everything must be digital-based," he said.
Separated, Regional Leader Muhammadiyah (PWM) Sumbar, Dr. Bachtiar, M. Ag with the Dikdasmen Assembly and Non-Formal Education PWM, Prof. Dr. M Zaim, M Hum congratulates Derliana on the election.
He hopes with the mandate given to him, bringing more positive changes for Pontren Kauman forward.
"We are grateful for the appointment of Buk Derliana as one of the managers of the Central FGM. Thus, the synergy between the district and the centre is getting stronger and this will bring tremendous changes to Muhammadiyah school in Sumbar,” he said. (release/cigus)
